Privacy policy

What we collect

Two things, and that is the whole list.

What you type into the quote form. Your name, your phone number, your home address or ZIP code, and the range your monthly electric bill falls into. The form also has an optional email field: leave it blank and nothing changes, or fill it in and we send you a confirmation of what you submitted. We also record which page you submitted from and the date and time. We ask for these because we cannot estimate a solar system without knowing where the roof is and roughly what the house uses.

Standard website analytics. If analytics is enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people read. That involves cookies set by Google and includes things like your approximate location by city, your browser, and the pages you viewed. It is aggregate traffic measurement, not an attempt to identify you personally.

We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, your date of birth, your bank details, or your account credentials. Nobody from this company will ever request those through this website or by text message.

What we do with it

• Contact you about the quote you asked for, by phone, text, or email.
• Prepare your system design, production estimate, and pricing.
• Arrange a site check and, if you move forward, the installation and permitting.
• Understand which pages bring in real enquiries, so we know what to write more of.

When you submit the form, the details are emailed directly to Divine Gifts Solar, and, if you gave us an email address, a copy is sent back to you as confirmation. We do not run it through a lead marketplace and we do not resell it.

Text messages and calls

Submitting the quote form means you agree to be contacted by Divine Gifts Solar LLC by call, text, or email about your request, including by automated means, at the number you gave us. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of buying anything from us.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Your number is used by us, for your request.

Who else sees it

We share what is necessary with the following, and nobody else:

• Our installation partner. Design, permitting, installation, and warranty service are performed with our installer partner, who needs the address and system details to do the work.
• The financing provider, if you choose a $0-down power purchase agreement and ask to proceed. They run their own credit check under their own privacy terms, which they give you before you sign anything.
• Service providers who keep the site and email running — our web host and our email provider — who process data on our behalf.
• Google, for the website analytics described above.
• Anyone we are legally required to tell, such as in response to a lawful subpoena, or a permitting authority that needs the project details.

We do not sell your personal information, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months.

How long we keep it

Quote requests stay in our email and records while we are working with you and afterward for as long as we need them for warranty, permitting, tax, and legal purposes. If you asked for a quote and did not go ahead, tell us and we will delete your details.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended gives you the right to know what personal information we have collected about you and where it came from, the right to have it deleted, the right to correct it, the right to opt out of sale or sharing — we do neither — and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these.

To use any of these rights, call us at (909) 320-2309 or write to us at the address below. We will verify who you are before acting, usually by confirming details of the request you submitted, and we will respond within the time the law allows. You can authorise someone else to make the request for you.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising cookies of its own. The only cookies are the Google Analytics ones described above, and they are only set if analytics is switched on. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings, and the site works normally if you do. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where your browser sends them.

Children

This site is for homeowners and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and quote submissions are transmitted encrypted. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
